Pisa is a city in Tuscany , Central Italy, on the right bank of the mouth of the River Arno on the Tyrrhenian Sea . It is the capital city of the Province of Pisa . Although Pisa is known worldwide for its leaning tower (the bell tower of the city’s cathedral),Pisa contains more than 20 other historic churches, several palaces and various bridges across the River Arno.
Florence is famous for its history: a centre of Medieval European trade and finance and one of the wealthiest cities of the time, it is considered the birthplace of the Renaissance , and has been called “the Athens of the Middle Ages “. A turbulent political history includes periods of rule by the powerful Medici family, and numerous religious and republican revolutions. From 1865 to 1871 the city was the capital of the recently established Kingdome of Italy. The Historic centre of Florence attracts millions of tourists each year. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982. The city is noted for its culture, Renaissance Art , Architecture and Monuments. The city also contains numerous Museums and Art Galleries, such as the Uffizi Gallery and the Palazzo Pitti, and still exerts an influence in the fields of art, culture and politics.
Will start the Tour from Michelangelo Square where you have a breathtaking view on the City of Florence. Will drive down to Santa Croce Church where all the most important italian artists are buried: (Michelangelo, Galilei, ecc). Will drive then around the city to visit the Duomo, Giotto Bell Tower, the Signoria Square and Palace, The Old Bridge… Will drive you back to the Port of Livorno in the afternoon.
We could visit the Tuscany countryside, the drive to Siena will take approx. one and half
hours from livorno, we could stop in Monteriggioni for a good coffee, tour of Siena and San Gimignano for wine teasting and lunch. Or if you prefer tour of Siena, lunch in Monteriggioni and ice cream in San Gimignano .
You’ll be back to the Port Approx. 5:30 P.M. exhausted, maybe a little drunk but happy!
Siena the historic centre of Siena has been declared by Unesco a World Heritage Site. It is one of the nation’s most visited tourist attractions, with over 163,000 international arrivals in 2008. Siena is famous for itscuisine, Art,Museums , medieval cityscape and thePalio, a horse race held twice a year.
Monteriggioni is a medieval walled town, located on a natural hillock, built by the Sienese in 1214–19 as a front line in their wars against Florence.
San Gimignano is a small Walled Medieval hill Town in theProvince of Siena , Tuscany, north-central Italy. Known as the Town of Fine Towers, San Gimignano is famous for its Medieval Architecture unique in the preservation of about a dozen of its tower houses,] which, with its hilltop setting and encircling walls form “an unforgettable skyline”. Within the walls, the well-preserved buildings include notable examples of both Romanesque and Gothic Architecture, with outstanding examples of secular buildings as well as churches.

Driver guide is not allowed to enter within sites, gives you general information about what you are seeing and will give you enough time to visit each site.
There is an additional cost for the private guided walking tour (3 hours) in Florence for the Uffizi Gallery and Accademia Museum “Michelangelo David” (optional of course)
