After a pleasant 40-minute drive, we’ll arrive in Tivoli (the ancient Tibur), where you’ll enjoy two guided walking tours showcasing the very best of the town, with a spectacular lunch in between in a wonderful setting.

– Morning: We’ll begin with a two-hour visit to Villa d’Este, a 16th-century masterpiece renowned for its terraced Italian Renaissance gardens and its extraordinary collection of fountains. Today it is an Italian state museum and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

– Lunch Break: We’ll then spend about an hour at a local restaurant to relax and recharge.

– Afternoon: Next, we’ll head to the lower part of Tivoli to explore Hadrian’s Villa, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This vast archaeological complex, built around AD 120 by Emperor Hadrian, features expansive grounds filled with pools, baths, fountains, and impressive ruins.

We’ll spend approximately two hours exploring the site before driving back to Rome, where you’ll be dropped off directly at your hotel.
